Grace and Peace to you in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ!

The church of Christ is about relationships.  Think about it.  Jesus brought a rag-tag bunch of characters together from their fish, taxes, and everyday labor to see that they were part of a new transforming story.  As good as it was, though, it almost ended as quickly as it started.  Jesus was killed like a criminal and all his disciples--friends--left or abandoned him.  That is how most other revolutionaries and their followers were destroyed.  This Jesus of Nazareth, he was different.  This dead man did live to tell the tale.  After his resurrection, he gathered his family back together and shared with them the good news that they were now to tell the tale of truth to all people.  So, that is what we do.  We aren't always great at doing it.  In fact, we are hoping that he comes back soon, like he promised.  That is the other part of the good news-- in the mean time good works and worshipping His great Name is our way of life.

You will probably hear us saying, "We are a family of Christ."  "We make up the body of Christ."  "We are the hands and feet of Christ," and other similar words. These are all ways that we describe how we are connected and work together in our faith.  We cannot do much without each other, just like a hand can't do much without an arm.
